What do you buy?

We buy solid gold (10k–24k), sterling silver (.925), platinum (PT950/PT900), natural diamonds (loose or mounted), fine jewelry, luxury watches, and coins & bullion with significant precious-metal value (U.S. and foreign). We do not buy plated/filled items, lab-grown diamonds, base-metal/clad coins, replicas, or stolen items.

What’s the minimum?

A $100 minimum item/shipment value applies.

Do you have a store I can visit?

Yes, if you are in South Florida, you can come visit us in person at 6500 Stirling Rd, Hollywood, FL 33024.

How do I start?

Request a free insured shipping kit and choose FedEx® (fastest) or USPS® (fast). You’ll complete a short form (name, email, mobile, address, ID upload, description of items, and carrier choice).

Do you offer Spanish?

SHIPPING, INSURANCE & SECURITY

Is shipping really free and insured?

Yes. Your prepaid label includes insurance up to $150,000. Need more? Email info@cashfor.gold to request higher coverage.

Can I choose the carrier?

Yes—FedEx or USPS. You select when requesting your kit.

How should I pack my items?

Use our tamper-evident kit, pad items well, and photograph/video each item and the sealed box. Keep your drop-off receipt and tracking info.

What if my package is lost or damaged?

Your shipment is insured under the carrier’s policy. Your photos/videos and drop-off receipt help support any claim. We’ll assist through the process.

How do I track my shipment?

You’ll receive a tracking link for your chosen carrier and can track door-to-door.

APPRAISAL & OFFERS

How are items tested? Will you damage my jewelry?

We use XRF non-destructive testing and calibrated scales for metals, and GIA-certified review for natural diamonds. No scratching or acid testing is required.

Do you video-record intake?

Yes. We video-record unboxing and handling to document chain of custody.

How long until I receive an offer?

Most shipments are appraised promptly after arrival. Your offer is valid for 72 hours.

What happens if I don’t respond within 72 hours?

If the window expires, we’ll refresh the offer to the current market and notify you to accept or decline.

Can I decline the offer?

Absolutely. If you decline, we overnight your items back for free via your selected carrier.

PAYMENTS

How fast do I get paid?

We initiate payment within 24 hours of offer acceptance.

Which payment methods do you offer?

ACH, PayPal, print-at-home check, mailed check, or virtual card. (Any bank/platform fees are between you and your provider.)

Are there fees for the kit, appraisal, or return?

No. The kit, shipping, appraisal, and return shipping (if you decline) are free.

IDENTIFICATION, ELIGIBILITY & COMPLIANCE

Who can sell?

You must be 18+, the rightful owner/authorized seller, and located in the U.S. We operate nationwide and are AML compliant.

What ID is required?

A government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport). Name/address should match your form; if not, include recent proof of address (utility bill or bank statement, dated within 60 days).

Do you run sanctions/AML checks?

Yes—basic KYC/AML screening is part of our compliance program.

Do you buy plated or gold-filled jewelry?

No—solid precious metals only.

Do you buy lab-grown diamonds?

No—natural diamonds only (loose or mounted; no size minimum).

Will you remove stones from settings?

We appraise items as-is. If you have a special request, note it on your form and we’ll advise options before proceeding.

Do you buy silver-plated flatware?

No—sterling (.925) only. Weighted items are accepted with non-silver weight deducted.

Do you buy non-running watches or those with aftermarket parts?

Yes. We consider non-running watches and those with aftermarket components; offers reflect originality, condition, service needs, and precious-metal content if applicable.

Do you buy coins without precious-metal value?

No. We purchase coins & bullion with significant precious-metal content (e.g., ASEs, Maples, Krugerrands, Sovereigns, PCGS/NGC-graded coins, mint-sealed/assayed bars, 90%/40% U.S. silver).

VALUATIONS & PRICING

How do you calculate my offer?

Offers reflect verified purity & weight, current market prices, and category specifics:

  • Jewelry/Metals: karat/fineness and weight via XRF & calibrated scales; design/desirability may add value.

  • Diamonds (Natural Only): the 4Cs (carat, color, clarity, cut), plus fluorescence, symmetry/polish, and condition.

  • Watches: authenticity/originality, condition, completeness (box/papers/links), market demand, and precious-metal content.

  • Coins & Bullion: authenticity, fineness, weight, certification (PCGS/NGC), and prevailing premiums over spot.

Do you publish a payout schedule (% of melt)?

RETURNS & TIMELINES

If I decline, how fast do I get my items back?

We overnight your items back for free.

Can I change my mind after accepting and being paid?

Transactions are final once payment is processed. If you have an urgent issue, contact us immediately at info@cashfor.gold.

How long does the whole process take?

Timing varies by shipping and your response time. We appraise quickly after receipt, your offer is valid 72 hours, and payment is initiated within 24 hours of acceptance.

Any packing tips?
